Caring and Well-Trained Nursing Staff

Nothing is more important than the kind of care provided to our short-term patients and long-term residents. Our trained licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants provide 24-hour care. Under the supervision of our Director of Nursing Services, our staff ensures that individual medical problems are addressed and physical needs are met in a caring manner.

Comfortable Environment
We provide comfortable rooms with picture windows and a pleasant view as well as many available courtyards. Rooms may be personalized with items you wish to bring from home…a favorite comforter, family photos, etc.

Our courtyards allow residents and their loved ones to enjoy the opportunity for quiet visits in the warmth of the sunshine or the shade of our trees.

Amenities & Services
Our lounge room has a TV and VCR for the enjoyment of movies. Local phone calls are a free service and personal phones can be arranged in most rooms for an additional charge through the phone company. Personal televisions are welcomed, and we can assist you in placing it in your room.

Available in our facility are professional barber and beautician services.

We provide housekeeping and linen services to our residents. We work diligently to have a clean and fresh environment for everyone.

Dining
Our dietary staff , and Registered Dietician, prepare appetizing meals to meet different palates and specific diets. We provide assistance during meals for those who require it. Meals are pleasantly served in the dining rooms. Room service is available upon request.

Activities
Our activities staff strives to meet the interest of all residents by providing interesting and diverse scheduled programs such as bingo, sittercise, arts and crafts, movies, live entertainment and various social gatherings. Activities are offered seven days a week and also include in-room visits for those unable to leave their rooms.

Whether a resident is actively participating in a program or just observing, our activities are fun for everyone!

Religious Services
Religious services are conducted weekly by various denominations to assure that all residents are able to fulfill their spiritual needs. In addition to weekly services, the following services are provided: visits by individual ministers; communion; (all faiths upon request). Special services upon request (Christmas, Passover, etc.), and religious reading material upon request.

Resident Council
We encourage residents to follow their own interest and become actively involved in the facility through Resident Council and other programs.

Quarterly Care Plan
We invite residents and family members to attend Quarterly Care Plan meetings in which all disciplines come together to discuss and plan collectively the best approach to care for the resident.

Social Services/Discharge Planning
Our Social Services assists the family and resident in adjusting to admission into a skilled nursing facility and with the effects of the residents illness. For short-term residents our Social Services helps with the preparation and transition home, setting up home health services, ordering equipment, a transition to a Board and Care or Assisted Living setting.

Physicians Visits
Each resident selects his or her own physician to follow their care in the skilled nursing facility. The physician may have a nurse practitioner assist in caring for their residents.

Business Office
Our Business Office is able to provide personal and one-on-one services regarding all business aspects and financial questions you may have.

Hospice & Respite Services
Hospice services are available to both terminal patients and their families. For those requiring a break from care-giving, we provide short-term respite care.
